“We were careful when selecting a daycare and pleased with our choice of the Growing Room in Berlin. We moved to the area last year and took time finding the right daycare for our two boys ages two and four years old. Having previously been at a smaller daycare, we are pleasantly surprised with the intimacy and the knowledge the staff have of our children. The Growing Room provides our children a safe, secure and structured environment for them to explore their interests, new ideas as well as just having fun. Even prior to the Covid-19 situation the center was clean, sanitized, organized meanwhile keeping a “kid friendly” environment. The communication at the Growing Room is superior. We receive a detailed summary of our child’s day with pictures and updates about events, special activities and pertinent information parents need. During the time the daycares were closed by the state, the staff remained engaged with in home activities through online videos, Zoom calls and planned on-line reading sessions. What it most important to us is how well cared for our children are at the Growing Room and their receptive approach to meet our children’s needs. Although they provide meals at the day care, our boys have special dietary needs and they supervise the mealtimes to ensure they do not eat any food that could be harmful. I highly recommend the Growing Room to parents interested in quality care for their children in a structured learning environment. I feel confident when dropping them off in the morning and even more pleased when the kids share how great their days were at the Growing Room.

My Kids have attended GR for the past 3 years, and we totally love them. we have had teachers that have inspired them to read, to be curious. they are absolutely not shy and afraid to ask things.. they love the science experiments, Travel Around the World is their favorite day, For summer they have so many fun things to do. Staff is Patience and very respectful! I truly love them and 1000% recommend them!!!

The best preschool your child can attend. We have been amazed at how much our 4 year old (Pre-K student) has learned in the past 10 months. For example, our child’s alphabet, drawing, social, and writing skills have improved way beyond our expectations. The staff is great and treats the kids like family. Soon, our child will begin the extra special summer school activities, before he starts kindergarten. This will be one of the best experiences — on our child’s educational journey.

We have been sending our son to the growing room for over 2 years and it has been amazing to watch him grow and learn in such a fantastic environment. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they always have a variety of fun activities for the kids.

‘Both of our children attend Growing Room and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. We are able to work full time with the security of knowing that our children are happy and in safe and capable hands. Our daughter has been enrolled since 11 months old (now 4) and our son since 12 weeks old (now 2). The faculty and staff are always welcoming, knowledgeable and responsive to our needs as a family. First and foremost, our children are so well cared for by teachers who truly welcome them, love them, and want to see them succeed. The curriculum is fantastic and we are constantly impressed with all of the new academic, social, and motor skills our children learn during their days at Growing Room. The facility itself is top-notch and provides so many different opportunities to foster growth in our children. There are a host of extracurricular events and activities that range from monthly Parent’s Night Out to optional weekly gymnastics classes. We are so thankful Growing Room is a part of our village!

Our three children have all attended Growing Room over the last two years and we have been so happy with our experience there! Our daughter attended two days a week of pre-K and we are confident she is prepared for kindergarten. Our sons have attended the toddler rooms and preschool at Growing Room. Their teachers have always been friendly and caring, and have such fun activities planned and plenty of playtime. We love that the meals were provided, not only because we didn’t have to pack a lunch, but our picky eaters would be opened up to different foods and eat more when they were eating with their friends. We loved the jobs the kids got during the day to reinforce responsibility and make it fun. They have awesome activities for the whole school every year like Trunk or Treat and Around the World night. Our daughter just had her graduation from Growing Room and she (and we) will truly miss her teachers. You could tell the dedication they have and the love that went into the graduation ceremony for the kids and parents too!

Leaving Growing Room was the hardest part of our decision to move. The management and staff are beyond incredible, in the love, dedication, and pride they put into their work each day. It is a one-of-a-kind experience. *******************************

However, after some individualized planning, love, and kindness from the teachers and staff, He now LOVES going to school. We are new parents and decided to give Growing Room a try for daycare. From the moment we contacted them for a tour until today we have been very happy with each member of their staff. They take great care of your children. There is also an app they try to keep updated with what your child is doing throughout the day that you can see as well. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely love this place! The teachers are wonderful, caring and attentive. The space is big, bright and fun. The activities are entertaining, educational and diverse. They feed your child breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Drop off and pick up times are flexible. Most importantly, my 2-year-old has a great time and comes home every day with new songs and vocabulary, talking about how she had a great day with her teachers and friends. I couldn’t ask for more!

This will the best home away from home available in this area. I am so excited for the infants through school age children! They will learn so much and just love the teachers and staff!! Very fortunate families!!

Knowing that my son is loved and cared for by an amazing group of professionals makes every day a good day. We were there on opening day and it was the best decision we made for our son.

Growing Room of Berlin is too beautiful for words. Colorful, bright, educational and cheerful. I fell in love with this place the first time I toured. Today was my son’s first day and he was actually sad to see me and come home. Sure, it hurt my feelings, but its such a peace of mind to know he’s having that much fun. It’s truly an amazing facility with a personable, cheery, and attentive staff. I adore the environment and everything they have to offer my daughter. She is always so excited to go there and every time we pull she says “we’re hereeee!” lol makes me laugh and smile every time : ) Hands down best place ever!

How we feel about our time with Growing Room can be summed up in our four-year old’s reaction every time we drive past the building on a day she isn’t being dropped off: “HI GROWING ROOM SCHOOL! I LOVE YOU I’LL SEE YOU SOON!” (yelled at top volume) Our daughter started pre-school in summer 2019 and has loved every minute. She’s excited to leave the house in the morning and can’t wait to tell us all about her fun day at pickup. She’s thrilled for her baby brother to join the infant class soon. The teachers and staff are kind, welcoming and supportive. The design and structure of the space is filled with fun touches, from the murals in the hallway to the awesome playground spaces. Everything is always extremely clean and well managed. The Kidsreports app is a total gamechanger. Our previous daycare communicated only with an update sheet at the end of the day and the app has made such a difference. We love getting pictures throughout the day and the end of day write up helps us feel involved. The only downside is when I get an alert that she ate all her snack, I get a little jealous! Goldfish, veggie straws, hummus, fruit…can grownups attend?? While we always felt confident that Growing Room was well managed, we were still amazed by the leadership, openness and transparent communication to families during the recent shut down for COVID-19. Bob and Laura were in constant communication with the Growing Room community and that helped alleviate some of the anxiety about sending her back to attend. Trust is hard-won, but over the past year, and especially during the pandemic, the Growing Room team has demonstrated a level of care and love for their community that would be hard to find anywhere else.
